Project Technical Reviews and “Red Teaming”

The below list addresses a few points where problems might be expected:

• Requirements Engineering

  Are your project requirements well-documented and complete, free of contradictions, measurable, and achievable? Are all team members and subcontractors aligned with these requirements? Have all regulatory requirements, such as the certification basis and safety targets, been considered?

• Aircraft Conceptual Design and Performance Analysis

  Is the conceptual design aligned with requirements? Is the performance analysis plausible and does it meet performance requirements? Is a feedback mechanism established between requirements engineering and conceptual design?

• Concept of Operations (ConOps) and Operational Regulations

  Is the Concept of Operations viable within the current or anticipated regulatory framework? Are there any operational constraints that could impact the market value of the final product?
